BIOGRAPHY

Santino, a hairstylist and make-up artist for film and T.V., wrote and recorded his first, original song “Lust or Love” in 1991, and signed to Sony Music Canada. The single was released as part of a dance music compilation entitled “Radio Dance,” which reached 25 on the Montreal Pop/Dance music charts.

He was the opening act for Platinum Blonde and Maestro Fresh Wes, and performed with Candi and the Backbeat, Lisa Lougheed, Debbie Johnson, and Kim Esty. Performed live at Kingswood Bandshell, the CNE, CHIN Radio International Picnic, Danforth Music Hall, and 107.9 Dance Summerfest.

Through to the year 2000, he wrote and recorded a number of other singles that were popular and spun in the Toronto dance club scene.

In 2018, he decided to make a comeback and recorded a cover single of the original 1980’s pop/dance song “I.O.U.” by Freeez – produced by Douglas Romanow, and spun on more than 24 radio stations across Canada since its release.

His latest single “Burn Out the Sun” – produced by Douglas Romanow (Noble Street Studios) – was released June 10, 2019 and is being spun on 18 radio stations across Canada. It is available for purchase on all music streaming sites.

Club and radio dance remixes of “Burn Out the Sun” (remixed by Hoss) were released on July 18, 2019. Both also available for purchase on all music streaming sites.

Santino’s current Releases “Pool Party” and “Pool Party” (Sky Machine Remix) Produced by Douglas Romanow and vocals laid at Revolution Recording are being dropped to radio July 20 2020 and available on all Steaming Sites now!
